writers block. i shouldn’t call it that. i’m no writer. i want to talk about the demons we all have. the ones inside. the perversito. the little evil. i dont really know what i want to say about it. i think i heard a saying once, “we’ve all gotta face our demons.” but we dont. maybe i’m so jaded that i just live with my falicies. and i dont do anything about them. maybe i need to learn how to properly use punctuation. i’ve got commas where periods should be and vice-versa. i hyphenate the wrong words alot of the time too. apparently, people in the blog/EN community are dropping like flies. onthebathroomwall.com is gone. madpony.com is well, not gone. but still up as a testament to sorority girls who wont go away. i dont even read anyone’s site anymore. no one sends me links asking for a plug. it’s like the ending of the movie pump up the volume. everyone starts their own pirate radio station. when ben and i started thelatch.com, like 5 people read it. eventually, that went by the wayside. i ran a few other sites with people that i worked with…retardedkid.com and e-geek.org. those were mildly successful. they of course went by the wayside as well. but this time ben and i had something of a vision. we were gonna do something more than just write and post the most horrible things we could find on the underbelly of the internet. we were gonna post awesome candid photographs that we took. we were gonna document still life. this kinda has worked. but i dont think it has really fit the original mental picture that i or ben had. he’s been kicking around the idea of a layout change. jeremy mentioned that we should do something gimicky. i agree to both of those, but i think we need something else. something more. maybe an internet television show? something weekly? or bi-weekly? would people actually watch webcasts? or at least download the archived shows? damnit. there’s a moth in my apartment and the cats are going crazy. i kinda wanted to do something of a community thing with the coppermine gallery, but that never panned out. i realize alot of the things that i do actually come up with end up in the procrastination inbox and never get done. like the dirtyashtray.com tshirts? or hoodies? i setup the cafepress account, but never really got around to making cool designs to go on tshirts. alright. it’s time to grab the bootstraps and yank it past post. yes, that was a geek joke. i’ll get to cracking on the tshirt ideas. oh, and if any of you have an idea mail it to me. or ben. everyone who’s anyone on this site has contact info in the forum. i’m off to the batcave.
